On May 01, 2023, the common access platform UDPSv2 Universal Departure Platform Solution CUPPS version was put into industrial exploitation at the Dushanbe International Airport. The UDPS system was selected through an open tender and replaced the previously used SITA CUTE.
At the same time RAM LDCS was implemented. The Reserve Autonomy Module (RAM) allows to continue passenger and luggage check-in even during Internet outages. The RAM is linked to the airport’s main departure control system and assists with any issues, be it communication failures or problems at the main system servers. The RAM allows to continue with the check-in process and therefore prevents flight delays.
The combination of the UDPS common access platform and the RAM LDCS check-in system ensures that the airport is completely independent of external factors, such as the availability of Internet to communicate airport with the HOST DCS.
