On July 01, 2021, the public access platform UDPSv2 Universal Departure Platform Solution CUPPS version was put into industrial exploitation at the Kazan International Airport. The UDPS system was selected through an open tender and replaced the previously used ARINC Multi-User System Environment (MUSE ™) from Collins Aerospace Corporation.
During the previous period of test operation of the UDPS platform, DCS GoNow systems of “Pobeda Airlines” and Sprint DCS of “Fly Dubai” airlines were certified. During the pilot project, the domestic development proved its high reliability and functionality, which gave full confidence to the management of Kazan International Airport when deciding to replace the foreign software.
The public access platform UDPS is included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs https://reestr.digital.gov.ru/search/?q=209838 (The register was created in accordance with Article 12.1 of the Federal Law “On Information, Information Technologies and Data Protection” in in order to expand the use of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases, to confirm their origin from the Russian Federation, as well as to provide right-holders with programs for electronic computers or databases of state support measures ).
