This was the first case of deploying a general access departure platform in Tajikistan. The platform allows the airport to service incoming flights by any carriers. The introduction of the general access departure platform was accompanied by deploying a local departure platform, intended as a backup for the passenger and luggage check-in systems in case of outages.
Two self check-in kiosks were designed, assembled, and installed at the airport, for the first time in Tajikistan. The service is currently available to all airlines that are serviced through the local departure platform.
