This kiosk allows passengers to report their luggage missing; it automatically fills out the Property Irregularity Report (PIR) and sends it to WT. Today, when passengers discover that their luggage is missing, they have no other option but to approach the Lost and Found desk before they leave the arrival zone, and to fill out a special form that will be assigned a case number. All the while, they will not be given any information on their bags’ current location. At peak passenger traffic, there are long lines to the Lost And Found desks, and customs forms for luggage that was lost during international flights are sometimes filled out with errors. Our kiosks allow to automate the registration of lost luggage, significantly reduce the number of errors made while filling out forms, and improve passenger service quality upon arrival.
